DIY// floral crown

I LOVE this floral crown trend going around right now. They are so pretty and so customizable! Not to mention really cheap to make too. After the jump, see some pictures of the one I made followed by a tutorial on how you can make your own.

Ingredients:
- Scissors
- Leather cord
- Faux Flowers
- Jewelry/Craft wire

Pull the flower off the stem. Do this carefully, because some faux flowers tend to fall apart if you do this. If yours do, just add a few beads of hot glue to glue the parts back together, no big deal.

Cut off a piece of wire about 6 inches or so. The length doesn't really matter as long as you have enough to wrap around your cord later.

Secure the wire about the base of your flower, hiding it under the bottom green part that hold the flower together.

Twist the wire around its self. You want to make it as tight and secure as possible.

Wrap the wire around your cord. Continue for each flower. You can do many different kinds of flowers, or all one kind like I did.
This is a really cute accessory for spring. Wear it with a flowy dress of top, and then go run around in the sunshine! Puppies are optional.

Hope you enjoyed this spring DIY! Sorry for the lack of DIY's lately. But do not fret or unfollow, there are more coming your way this week!
